Chicago to host 2024 Democratic National Convention

Delegates from all 50 states and US territories will convene in Chicago to nominate the Democratic Party's presidential and vice presidential candidates. The convention will also feature speeches from party leaders and activists, and will be a major event in the 2024 presidential election.

The 2024 Democratic National Convention is expected to attract tens of thousands of attendees and generate millions of dollars in economic activity for Chicago. The city has a long history of hosting major events, including the 1968 Democratic National Convention, the 1996 Democratic National Convention, and the 2012 NATO summit.
